Bindery Associate / Cutter Assistant

Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Bindery Associate / Cutter Assistant to join our production team in Dallas, TX. This role plays a key part in the finishing department, supporting daily operations in cutting, binding, and packaging printed materials. The ideal candidate will have prior bindery experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with bindery and cutting equipment, including guillotines, folders, stitchers, and trimmers.

• Support the lead cutter with setup, adjustments, and operation of cutting machines to ensure accurate and clean cuts.

• Inspect printed materials for quality, alignment, and consistency before binding or trimming.

• Package, stack, and prepare finished materials for shipment or next production stage.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards.

• Track and record daily production output and report any machine issues or material shortages.

• Collaborate with the production and warehouse teams to meet deadlines and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Bindery experience is required; prior work in print production or finishing is preferred.

• Familiarity with bindery and cutting equipment operation and safety protocols.

• Ability to read job tickets, follow production schedules, and interpret work instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.

• Reliable attendance and a strong teamwork attitude.

Compensation & Benefits
