TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Accountant/CPA in the Greenbelt, MD area!

WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Person (Temp-to-Hire)

PAY RATE: $80K-$100K yearly depending on experience 

SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 9:00am -5:00pm

 RESPONSIBILITIES

- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for hourly & salaried employees

-  Prepare & submit certified payroll reports

-  Manage invoicing cycles ensuring accurate & timely delivery to clients

- Reconcile accounts payable & accounts receivable resolving discrepancies

- Collaborate with operations and HR teams to ensure accurate timekeeping & billing

- Ensure Compliance wit GAAP & company financial policies

QUALIFICATIONS

- Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 

- CPA certification preferred(not required but strongly valued)

- 3-5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in service-based or labor intensive industry

- Proven experience with, Payroll processing, Certified payroll, invoicing and AP/AR reconciliation

- Strong Proficiency with accounting software(QuickBooks, Sage, etc..)

- Excellent attention to detail with problem solving skills and the ability to work independently

- Familiarity with security services, staffing or similar industries is a plus
