TMD Staffing is looking to hire Shipping & Receiving Lead in the South side of Houston, 77054 area!
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In Person- Houston Texas
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise daily shipping and receiving operations
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
Verify accuracy of orders, shipments, and documentation
Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse staff
Train, coach, and evaluate team members
Monitor employee performance and productivity
Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments
Resolve shipping errors, delays, and customer issues
Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventories
Prepare and submit operational reports to management
Manage workflow to meet daily shipping and receiving deadlines
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED required
3–5 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience
1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software
Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and purchase orders
Knowledge of shipping regulations and safety standards
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
PAY RATE
$22.00-25.00/hr
SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 4:30PM
