TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Production Planner for a fabrication shop in the East Houston , this will be the training facility but will transition to La Porte Texas 

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and manufacturing experience to join a dynamic team. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Person; Office Setting

PAY RATE: Starting at $20.00-25.00 per hour, Depending on Experience

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM

PRODUCTION PLANNER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements

  Produces production schedule in line with production capacity to meet customer deliveries

  Coordinate delivery of parts to expedite flow of material to meet production schedule

  Coordinate with material purchasing group and/or expedite suppliers’ material purchase orders as required

  Coordinate between warehouse and purchasing on material shortages

  Utilize MRP/ERP system to generate manufacturing work orders

  Release manufacturing work orders to the warehouse and production teams 

  Notify Outside Sales and Customer Service Representatives of any schedule impacts to customers

  Coordinates with production teams to develop production schedule to ensure customer commitments are met

  
  

PRODUCTION PLANNER QUALIFICATIONS

• Production and Processing – Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and
  other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
  Ability to interact well with internal and external customers
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
   Proficient use of computer systems and software applications

  Proficiency in Office Excel and Oracle ERP is a plus
  In-depth knowledge of ERP or MRP software preferred
   Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
