WORKSITE: NEW BRAUNFELS, TX 78130

TMD Staffing is hiring for Packer / Production / Sorter for a Pickle and Pepper manufacturer in New Braunfels, TX.  The right candidate will have experience working in a food manufacturing company and be familiar with the roles and tasks in the packaging department.  They will be dependable and reliable and be able to complete full shifts and schedule.  The person we select will be sorting products on a turntable, they will be weighing packages, inspecting seals, removing empty packages from production line and they will be loading products into a box.  This job will demand that you be able to work in an environment where the odor of pickles, peppers and vinegar is present.  PPE will be required on the production floor.  Bilingual - English/Spanish will be a great plus.  This job is a 10-hour shift and will require that USDA guidelines be adhered to.   Hablamos Espanol. 

SCHEDULE:   

1st Shift - 7am - 6pm, Monday to Thursday

Flexibility requires a must to end time if production needs to be completed.

PAY:   $14 / HR - Weekly compensation by electronic deposit

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Be knowledgeable and willing to learn the tasks for multiple roles within the packaging department
• Know and be able to assist with replacing plastic in Arpac machine
• Be able to assist with palletizing
• Be able to use hands and wrists in repetitive motions
• Be able to assist with plastic sealing machines
• Be able to stand throughout shift, unassisted
• Be able to work in front of a conveyor belt.  
• Monitor case packs going into Arpac machine
• Be flexible and willing to move around to different roles to avoid fatigue
• Be able to work with odor of peppers, pickles and vinegar

REQUIREMENTS:

• Be able to pass a drug screen
• Have pass and have a decent background check
• Be able to wear proper PPE, (safety glasses, gloves, hair and foot bonnets)
• Be legal to work in USA
• Have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work 10 hours shift
