TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Steel Packager for a steel company in the East Houston, TX Area!
WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Person, Industrial/Steel Manufacturing Environment.
• Package and prepare finished steel products for shipment.
• Bundle, wrap, label, and secure steel materials according to specifications.
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packaging.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials.
• Operate basic hand tools and packaging equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and production procedures.
• Assist production team members with daily manufacturing tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move materials in an industrial environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
PAY RATE: $17
SCHEDULE: 10 PM - 6 AM
