TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Saw and Forklift Associate in the East Houston, TX area (77013)! 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Person; Outside

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Saw and Forklift Associate to support production and material handling operations. This role involves safely operating a forklift as well as measuring, cutting, and binding materials to meet customer order specifications in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate a forklift safely to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Measure materials accurately using tape measures (inches) to ensure precise order fulfillment.
• Perform basic calculations to verify correct dimensions and quantities.
• Cut and bind materials according to customer order requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures.
• Assist with inventory checks and general material handling as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience operating a 10,000 Ibs forklift (valid certification preferred).
• Ability to accurately read and use tape measures (inches).
• Strong numerical skills and ability to perform basic calculations.
• Ability to lift and move materials safely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience working with lumber or similar materials is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.

SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri: 6:00 am – 4:00 pm

PAY RATE: $16.00 per hour
