TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Shop Manager in the Baltimore MD area!
Full-Time Opportunity!
WORK ENVIRONMENT

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily shop operations, production schedules and workflow priorities
- Lead and support machinists, fabricators, technicians and production employees
- Plan and coordinate manufacturing actives to meet customer deadlines
- Review job requirements, drawings and production specifications
- Support CNC machining operations including setup, programming, troubleshooting and process improvements
- Oversee fabrication, assembly, tooling and prototype production activities
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and identify solutions
- Work closely with engineering and design teams on new products and production improvements
- Train employees and promote continuous improvements practices.
-Assist with equipment maintenance and process optimization
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, machining or production environment
- Previous experience as a Shop Manager, Manufacturing Supervisor, Production Manager or Shop Lead
- Strong CNC machining knowledge and experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Experience managing production teams in a hands-on environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with precision manufacturing processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet production deadlines
PAY RATE
$65,000 - $85,000(based on experience)
