TMD Staffing is looking to hire Sit-Down Forklift Operators in Houston, TX!
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In-person / Freight Warehouse
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate sit-down forklifts to safely transport freight throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers while ensuring products are handled with care.
- Stage, move, and organize freight in designated warehouse locations.
- Verify freight and pallet counts for accuracy during loading and unloading.
- Inspect forklifts before each shift and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
- Experience working in a freight or distribution warehouse preferred.
- Ability to safely load and unload trailers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Skills: Reliable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and dependable.
Pay Rate: $16 per hour
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
