Micro-Chip Hardware Assembly & Production Associate
TMD Staffing is hiring! We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Micro-Chip Hardware Assembly & Production Associates to join our client’s production team in Pharr, Texas. (RIO GRANDE VALLEY)
Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Pharr, TX
Perform assembly and initial testing of micro-chip hardware components on the production line while ensuring all products meet company quality standards and established work instructions. This position supports efficient production operations while maintaining accuracy, safety, and product quality.
Responsibilities
- Assemble micro-chip hardware components according to standardized work instructions and production documentation.
- Install micro-chips, boards, cables, connectors, and other components according to specifications.
- Perform initial functional testing of assembled units.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify damage, misalignment, or missing components.
- Identify and correct basic assembly errors when possible.
- Report technical or complex issues to a supervisor or engineering team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Meet production goals while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Support continuous improvement and comply with company Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in micro-chip assembly, electronics production, hardware assembly, or manufacturing is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Ability to follow written work instructions and standardized procedures.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong work stability and a dependable employment history are required.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be willing to follow all quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
