TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Receiving Lead Person in the Brookshire, 77423 area.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In-Person, Warehouse
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead daily inbound receiving and container-unloading activities.
- Verify incoming shipments against packing lists and receiving documentation.
- Identify and report shortages, overages, damages, and other discrepancies.
- Oversee repacking, labeling, and quality-control activities.
- Ensure inventory is received accurately in the system.
- Assign tasks and monitor employee productivity.
- Train and support inbound and repack associates.
- Ensure receiving and repack deadlines are met.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within inbound areas.
- Communicate receiving discrepancies and operational concerns to management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience with receiving, unloading, repacking, or warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-control standards.
- Leadership and team-coordination skills.
- Ability to verify shipment documentation and inventory quantities.
- Ability to meet tight receiving and processing deadlines.
- Familiarity with WMS transactions and RF scanners is preferred.
- Forklift experience is required .
PAY
$20-21/hr
SCHEDULE
8AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday, must be flexible with schedule and able to work weekends as needed
