Warehouse Shipping Clerk
Location: Houston, TX (NRG Area – 77054)
Pay: $18.00 per hour

About the Role

TMD Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping Clerk for a client located in the NRG area. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and shipping experience who can manage multiple shipment types while maintaining clear communication with customers and carriers.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous shipping or logistics experience.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 • Willingness to obtain required certifications (training provided).

What You’ll Do

• Manage customer orders involving (Less-Than-Truckload / Full Truckload) and small package shipments (FedEx Ground, UPS, etc.).
• Handle small parcel shipments (<50 lbs), both domestic and international.
• Prepare, package, and ship hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) and ensure accurate shipping documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with customers via email, phone, and fax regarding shipment status.
 • Maintain organized and accurate shipping records.

• DOT Hazardous Materials Certification (training provided).
• Multi-modal (IATA) Certification (training provided).
 • CVI Registration (training provided).
