• Prepare, calculate and negotiate bill rates / rate increases with clients.
• Initiate and follow-up with customers to sell or resolve problems, answer questions, correspondence and reports.
• Continually take the pulse of clients through customer visits, informal telephone conversations, lunch meetings, industry events and formal customer satisfaction surveys. Ensure quick and proper response to all reasonable customer requests. 
• Hire, train and monitor all service personnel. 
• Ensure operations personnel have the tools they need to perform their jobs satisfactorily. Personally inspect jobs to assess the progress on jobs and the game plan that operations personnel are employing to achieve the objectives. 
• Monitor all applicant files, customer files, risk management policies and procedures, data entry and computer functions.

• Follow-up with clients when an injury occurs to ensure proper accident investigations are completed and injured employees are receiving proper care.
• Coordinate with billing and data processing to assure smooth processing of temp payroll and client billing. Ensure that branch(s) provide timely information to corporate office for processing permanent payroll and accounts payable. 
• Prepare electronic correspondence, reports and other forms of written communications. 
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. 
• Must be able to maintain a team spirit and be available to help with operations in times of need as set forth by upper management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• 5+ years of experience in a Staffing, Management, Sales, and Customer Service.
• Ability to make decisions that impact overall operations and customer satisfaction.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing operations and sales departments, reporting, and ATS systems.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.

WORKSITE:  SPRING BRANCH, TX 78070

TMD Staffing  is looking to hire Material Handlers to work in a  rebar manufacturing facility in Spring Branch, TX 78070. These are ENTRY LEVEL positions. No experience necessary.  We just need highly motivated candidates with strong work ethic that are looking for a full-time position with opportunity for advancement. You will be working in a non-climate control facility, bending, cutting, untangling, straightening, bundling and loading/unloading steel rebar. This job demands physical labor, and you will be working in a dusty environment!  Steel toe shoes/boots are mandatory.

Tasks:

• Assist in loading and unloading rebar on trailers

• Tying / Bundling Rebar Materials with wire. 

• Work standing, unassisted for duration of shift

• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition

• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines

• Operate rebar fabrication equipment, such as shears, benders, wire tie links, threaders, forging tools and wire cutters.

• Perform additional duties as needed

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

• Must be able to pass a drug test

• Must have the ability to bend, stand and lift up to 40lbs

• Must have the ability to read a common tape measure

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must wear Steel Toe Shoes/Boots

Schedule & Pay:

1^st Shift:  Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays, 7AM to 4PM / $16/HR (weekly pay, by electronic deposit)

TMD Staffing in San Antonio is hiring for Class A CDL drivers for a metal fabricator in Spring Branch, TX 78070.  This is a Temp-To- Hire position.  If you hold a Class A (Fully Endorsed) CDL, we want to speak to you. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift and/or move a minimum of 70 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to lift, twist, turn, and may climb. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and climb or balance. To become permanent, the mandatory time/hours will have to be met and completed.  Once our candidate becomes permanent, a payrate increase will be given and you will qualify for the company's fringe benefits. 

Compensation:

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED), or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
• 21 years of age required per FMCSA regulations (1 year driving experience required)
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled terminal and/or work assignment
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles Endorsements required (LCV requirement may apply)
• Must be able to drive a tractor trailer for a period that will conform to FMCSA requirements
• Stable employment history preferred
• Ability to operate a forklift (minimum 7,500 lb. vehicle)
• Must be able to push or pull a loaded pallet jack and/or hand truck with a minimum load of 70 lbs.
• Physical activities include standing, lifting, twisting, turning, climbing a ladder, etc.
• Must be capable of dropping/hooking and coupling trailers which involves cranking landing gear, pulling 5th wheel pin which takes approximately 65 lbs. of pressure; and maneuvering a trailer dolly
• Must be able to provide an acceptable MVR
• Must be familiar with state motor vehicle laws and FMCSA rules and regulations
• Must pass a FMCSA required medical exam
• Must pass a road test
• Ability to meet the FMCSA’s requirements to speak and read English
• Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job
• Must be able to drive all routes and in all types of terrain, including, but not limited to, mountains, steep inclined roads, curvy highways, desert areas, bridges, tunnels, etc.
• Must be able to drive in a wide range of environmental conditions, including, but not limited to, rain, wind, snow, freezing temperatures, hot weather, etc.
• Must be able to operate all safety and operational functions of equipment, including, but not limited to, chain tires, driving manual transmission vehicles, etc.
• Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
• Must be able to interact well with others
• Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
• Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities
• Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
