• Operate assigned handheld unit to create labels; correctly place labels on product.

• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Valid forklift certification and at least 1 year of recent forklift experience.

• Experience in order pulling, picking, or shipping in a warehouse setting.

• Ability to read and understand pick tickets and inventory labels.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs and working on your feet throughout the shift.

• Basic computer or RF scanner skills a plus.

TMD Staffing is looking to hire an Machine Operators in the 77040 area!

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Shop

WORK SCHEDULE: 1st shift: Mond-Friday 5AM to 2:30PM and Saturday 5am-11am, 2nd shift: Monday- Friday 2:30- until done

PAY RATE: $16.00 1st shift , $17.00 2nd shift

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Machine Operator is responsible for running machines to bend, cut, and band rebar materials, must be comfortable moving rebar that is 2 ft to 64 feet in length. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

Previous working experience in industrial manufacturing and/or production

Machine operator, overhead crane, tower cranes experience is a plus

Experience with sheet metals, rebar, an steel is a plus

Work outside in various environmental conditions such as extreme heat, noise, and dust.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
